There are plenty of UFC fighters, who are loved or hated because of their style, appearance, trash-talk, etc. Conor McGregor is the most popular fighter in the world because of his style, charisma, and trash-talking abilities. Yet, he is hated by many as well. On many occasions, it’s impossible for a Fighter to have all the love in the world and no hate doesn’t matter how popular he is. But there are a few UFC fighters who enjoy the support from every fight fan and no one hates them. In the following article, we’ll discuss the top 3 fighters that have literally no haters.

Stephen Thompson

Stephen “Wonderboy” Thompson is the true archetype of a nice guy. He is kind, funny, charming, good-looking, and friendly. Wonderboy is like a good Samaritan with a good heart and strong morals. But at the same time, Stephen is an extremely entertaining fighter in the welterweight division. Prior to transitioning to Mixed Martial Arts, Stephen used to be a high-level karate practitioner and a decent kickboxer with numerous titles. In 2012, Thompson made his UFC debut and knocked Dan Stittgen out cold with a nasty head kick. After getting a 7 fight win streak, Stephen got his shot at the title against the undisputed Champ Tyron Woodley. The fight was very tense as both fighters had their moments. In the end, the fight was declared a majority draw. The rematch between these two happened 5 months later. The fight wasn’t entertaining and Tyron was declared the winner. Since then, Thompson has been mixing wins and losses. He is currently 39 years old and on the decline. As I already mentioned, fans love Stephen both because of his personality and his fighting style. Wonderboy’s karate-kickboxing techniques are like works of art.

Max Holloway

Max Holloway

Max Holloway is a former featherweight champion and probably the greatest featherweight of all time. Max made his UFC debut in 2012 at the age of 20. After suffering defeats against guys like Dustin Poirier and Conor McGregor, Max progressed and went on a 12-fight win streak. In June 2017, Max faced Jose Aldo for the undisputed featherweight title and won the fight in the third round via TKO. The rematch happened after a few months and again, Max got the upper hand. Towards the end of 2019, Max faced a new contender and rising star Alexander Volkanovski. Holloway lost the fight via decision. They were booked once again in 2020 and Max fell short because of the judge’s controversial decision. As of today, Max is one of the best pound-for-pound fighters even without a belt. Fans love this guy because of his appearance, fighting style, and hilarious persona. Max usually spends his time with his family and streams video games. Holloway’s fights are always entertaining and bloody, and fans love that.

Robert Whittaker

This Aussie former middleweight champion is definitely one of the most loved fighters in the sport. Robert Whittaker enjoys huge popularity and support because of his kind personality and brutality in the fights. Robert made his debut in 2012 and settled in a welterweight division. After some shortcomings, Robert went up in a different weight class and that’s where his success began. He went on an 8-fight win streak, won the belt, and defended it once, but unfortunately, lost in a subsequent battle against Israel Adesanya. Whittaker got his title shot once more in 2022 but lost the battle in a razor-close decision against Israel Adesanya.  Whittaker has a decent personality and good humor, mixed with great determination and fighting skills in the cage.
